Photo Manipulation

Photo manipulation covers a range of things from the mundane blemish removal all the way up to large scale compositing work, combining multiple images to create a single narrative. Work of this nature is done in Photoshop and, for me, underpins much of my graphic design and illustration work. Below are two case studies covering some of the more in-depth methods I employ when working with images. Both of these examples where created as the foundation for oil paintings allowing me the opportunity to really push the creative extremes.
